I think it's one of those things that will work itself out. I told few people that I'm going to the c/o beach but that's about it. When she sees you nude for another reason is probably a better time. Just my two cents though.

I've never even had a girlfriend yet, so I'm a little worried how my first one (whenever that happens) might feel if she finds out. I'm still too afraid to tell any of my friends that I'm a nudist, but from what I hear there aren't that many negative reactions in general. So for now I'm just keeping my ears open, and if the time is right, I may mention something. I'm just too concerned about not losing any friends because of my lifestyle.
It gets easier with age. People become far more open and accepting of different world views. When I was 17 I was still closeted and asking the same question. I've still not explicitly told any of my friends that I'm a naturist but they do know that I have attended naturist beaches before, that I sleep naked and I am comfortable with nudity. As I mentioned in the topic I started earlier I have just been able to spend the entire evening naked in front of the box. The funny thing is, before everyone went out leaving me alone they all said jokingly; "Ahh, so Sam is just going to get naked now!" I didn't deny it...! Having said all that, I'm not 100% if they think I'm joking or not, I tend to use sarcasm in a strange way...sometimes I use it in its normal way...other times I use it when I am actually being serious about something to mask the fact that I am telling them the truth... I've dressed it all up as a joke, it keeps people guessing, which makes it quite amusing for me as well. Having said that, sometimes I do just want to say; "Yeah, I'm a naturist", but I've not quite got the confidence to that.

My fiancée and I have been together for nearly five years, and will be married within a couple months now. She's known I'm a nudist for a few years now and will occasionally let me go nude at home, but only recently has she said she might be open to joining me at campgrounds or beaches when we're married. Looking forward to seeing how that goes for her.

I am in the same boat as you Andrew, I have never had a girlfriend before. If I do, how should I tell her I am a naturist is a big question that I have pondered upon. lol

Husband and I are both nudists - we started together though he was interested in it before me. First experience was on a nude beach on our honeymoon, came across it and we both decided to stay. He got naked right away but I took a little while easing into it, but once my clothes were off I had a great time!
Sounds the same as us...I think the Guys tend to introduce the ladies most of the times

I think that plenty of people are introduced to nudism via their spouse or significant other. For most people, getting in to nudism isn't as simple as "Hey, let's go to the beach and get naked!" (though it would be nice if it were that easy ). But if you're in a relationship with that person then it's a lot easier to go along with them and give it a try.

It blows my mind how many of the men I know from a camp I frequent (without my wife, although she knows where I am and doesn't object) come with golf bags because they don't want their wives to know where they are.

I personally think that, Yes it WOULD be great to find and marry a naturist right off the bat, but living in reality means I will probably have to convert my future spouse to naturism. Is it a deal breaker in the relationship if she is not a naturist, that one is hard. If she is fine with me continuing to be a naturist, and fine with our eventual children joining me, and maybe even coming to the park or having get togethers and keeping her kit on, then maybe we can work it out. If not, if she wants to change Me to being a non-naturist, then yes that is a deal breaker.

My girlfriend and I are often nude around the flat, we have both gone whole weekends nude in the past. However she doesn't know I've been to nude beaches and naturist swims. We have talked about going to a nude beach though.

Wow... I've never noticed that... But single men are limited at our club, so maybe it discourages that? Are there limits for single males at your camp?

The gf and I have been nude on multiple occasions together. I told her I liked being naked and thought it was a joke. I finally convinced her to head to playalinda with me and went for it. We never hid our nudity from one another at home. Why would we? We are a couple. We've done things far past just seeing each other nude so covering up 24/7 seems silly.

Hey everyone, new couple here. I know at one of the nudist resorts here in the twin cities, they limit the number of single males that cna attend or join. The other will allow single males with no real limit that i have noticed.
