I have no tattoos. I think you should do what makes you happy and doesn't hurt anyone else.

I don't have any "body art" either.  Can I still claim to be "natural" with a permanent retainer in my mouth? Tongue

I think you're fine Bobbert!  A permanent retainer isn't body modification... Kinda like me... I actually wear glasses (contacts normally), but I have my glasses on as I type this eventhough I'm not wearing anything else... Doesn't make me any less natural and no less a naturist/nudist in my opinion.... Smiley

Hey, I love tattoos, I think that is a pretty ballsy statement to make. Though I will never get one- simply because, why mess with perfection?  Wink

If they are well thought out I think they are great. But I don’t like those crappy homemade tattoos a lot of young people get, or when people tattoo boy/ girl friends names on themselves, or silly dots, marks, slogans, or Japanese characters. I have seen some people that look good with their tattoos, but I have seen sooooo many that just look silly or odd.

Haha...my only permanent body modification is a pair of glasses, and since I cannot bare to put things in my eye glasses will stay...until I can afford laser eye surgery when I discover oil somewhere...

Also got a few scars, none of them were intended, do they count as body modifications?

I personally don't find tattoos particularly attractive, but naturally have no problem with people who have them. I think they can be attractive when used discretely and utilising a bit of class as well Smiley.

I love the idea of tattoo's, to me its a personal as well as being an expression of yourself to the outside world.
I am currently saving up to get a small tattoo on my wrist. It's going to be three words that symbolise me, in
three different languages. And the words will form a triangle.

Wisdom - Hebrew
Chaos   - Gaelic
Peace   - Latin

The words and languages all mean something special to me. So hopefully I'll get the tattoo by mid March talksalot

I'm not big on tattoos. dontgetit Any tattoo makes a person look worse pretty much 100% of the time if you ask me. It seems so tragic to me when pretty women do it on their faces or something, in particular.  And they'll look terrible on you when you're older, won't they? It's like the embarrassing baby photo that you're made to permanently carry around with you. Sorry to those who feel otherwise. hardpoke I just think that as far as improving appearance in any way is concerned, which I'm presuming tattoos are kind of about, then exercise and diet or even well-targeted plastic surgery makes more sense to me.
