Does any one know of any colleges that have naturist clubs/organizations on the east coast?

I see that no one has replied yet, so I'm assuming that there aren't many college nudist clubs (at least that people know of).
Therefore, I'd like to ask another question. I've been researching colleges lately, and I know that there are many student-founded clubs and organizations. I was wondering if anyone knows how one could form a college nudist organization at their school?

Unfortunately I don't. That's why I'm wondering if it would be possible to establish one at whatever college I end up going to.

What it takes to start a club could be pretty dependent on the school. It could range from simply registering a few members to needing to get hundreds of signatures. I think Aaron mentioned something about this at his school.

I guess UTexas-Austin had a student led nudist organization back in the 90s, but have not heard anything about them since about '98 or so, so could not tell you any more about that, although I could tell you that they did/do exist.

There used to be a club @ ASU many years back, but then many of the members graduated and it died. Getting a club together, as mentioned above, depends on the college.

We had a great workshop all about this at the midwinter fest...I've got some of the information that they gave us regarding student clubs but it's all packed up at the moment. I'll jump back on here when I get home sometime tomorrow and fill you in on what they told us. One of the things that I do remember off the top of my head was them saying how hard it is to maintain those organizations for the exact reason that Dan mentioned. Once the founding members graduate they tend to die out. I believe that USF and FSU both have or had nudist clubs. I'm sure there must be a way you could look up lists of student clubs on the schools web sites.

I go to FSU and am part of the naturist club there, FSNUDE. This is the only club I've ever heard about at a college though, and it is helped alot by the people that run the nude lake nearby.

Here in England we need a minimum of 20 or so people to form a society and to organise a committee. Having said that, that's the way we need to do it officially, could have an unofficial one...

I was going to say the same thing about forming an unofficial club if the school doesn't / wouldn't support one. All you really need is a Yahoo group and invite people to organize there.

Unfortunately Yahoo groups usually get more than college students...

Actually not, well I haven't used Yahoo Groups in a while, but Google Groups yes...the upshot being they both can set up a private group and have moderating capabilities to allow the group manager to only accept people from the college or however you want to set the criteria.

There was a nudist organization at Alfred University years ago, but i dont quite know what happened to them, or anything else about them, other than their name.
