For anyone living in Perth....the 25th Swanbourne Olympic games will be held Sunday 21st Feb from 1000am.

I spoke with the organiser today and he thinks that there will be at least 2000 people there!

More details: Click Here

I visited the Olympics very briefly last year and it was packed with people and events.

Definitely an exciting day.

It was awesome. There were heaps of people there, lots of families with children and heaps of couples. There were probably more people in their 30-40’s than older. (Apparently back in the 80’s and 90’s the crowd was estimated to be around 5000 people!)

Unfortunately the weather was not the best, this morning there was some cloud around then when the sun did shine a very strong sea breeze nearly blew us all away.

There were heaps of events to keep everyone busy...and one of the local clubs was selling hot dogs and drinks. Some of the events included Eggs in Space (you had to throw an egg to another person without it breaking...the team with the last egg to break wins), swim around the buoy, pass the bucket, best bum, body painting...etc.

I met heaps of people there today. Most a little older than myself but all were really friendly. The organisers were saying that there are less people every year. They are not sure why but they put it down to that people are afraid of cancer and weirdo’s.

I’m so glad I went today. I’ve been invited to nude swim events and my girlfriend and I are going to check out a club next weekend just outside Perth.
