Congrats, dude. I truly hope that your prom is less expensive than mine. Thanks, I've been ok money-wise so far, but I have a feeling that it's going to add up in the end. How much is your prom?

A lot. First off, there is a $150 dollar entrance fee. Then you add on $50 or so for the tux rental, $200 for the after-party, and buying dinner before or after the prom...it adds up. Sigh. I have somebody I would ask, but I only have about $100 total and no reliable source of money, so this would be a bit much for me.

Out of curiosity, how much is yours?

I honestly don't know, it's still too far off. All I've done so far is rent a standard black tux from Men's Warehouse for $50, plus an additional $20 to add a colored vest. So not too bad!

Wow. What is this afterparty that you have to pay 200 to get into. Only prom afterparties i've heard about have been thrown by us, the students, if there's an entrance fee it might be drinks. are you paying for a share of a hotel suite or something? even so if its 200 you need to share it with more people id say... Just wondering

Wow, $200 for the after party?? I can't imagine what that would go towards, especially since it can't be booze, haha.

lol, my junior prom's not till may 23. Some kids graduate the next morning over here so some of my friends dates couldn't go Wow, that's too bad. Mine was this past weekend, and it was nothing short of EPIC! They had it at this air force museum in the area with a large hanger, so there was plenty of room. I love old planes, so they could not have picked a better location. Plus, the girl I went with looked absolutely stunning and was a blast to dance with! For my first prom, I couldn't have gotten more lucky. It was unforgettable!

Wow, Sounds like a Great time Andrew! I went to a dinner party reception for a vendor for work one time that was held in their private airport's historical hanger, it was Awesome with all the vintage aircraft and other things there, I enjoy aviation history as well

She's three years older than I am and has a boyfriend (don't worry, he was totally cool about it ) Although I do secretly wish we could be "together"...
