I\'m wondering ... what temperature (Farenheit) is too cold to go out nude?  It\'s 70 out here on the weekends and I\'d like to make a trip to the beach Smiley

I think that is something you\'ve got to make up for yourself.
Some people might find a certain temperature to cold to go nude outside, while others still find that same temperature fine

When it gets cold we wear clothes, we wear closthes when it\'s neccesary.

i\'m reminded of the lady in the \'Diary of a Teenage Naturist\' doc who says \"we nudists are reasonable people, and when it\'s cold out we put something on\".  that tends to be something i\'ve said to people who say to me \"so, do you go nude all the time?\" liked i\'d be walking around in my bare skin in a snowstorm or something...

With your blonde tresses, Amy, we probably wouldn\'t see you in a snowstorm!  Tongue

How cold is too cold to be nude depends on the person and the situation. If you are strenuously exercising or immersed in high temperatures via sauna or hot spring, then you wont feel cold. For instance, it is common practice in finland to jump into freezing water after being in the sauna while completely naked during the winter months, when the temperature plummets below zero.

I've seen that. Not sure I could do that! I never knew about the sauna part, only thought it was a quick dip in the cold.

For those of you that haven't tried, I highly recommend running around in the snow. Sub-freezing nudity can be a lot of fun, just make sure you've got a warm blanket waiting for you!

Last winter, we had four feet of snow on the ground. I took a midnight hike and it was incredible; the world was completely still and everything was covered beyond recognition. I'll admit, I wore boots, gloves, and a hat, so I wasn't completely nude, but I was able to avoid hypothermia, haha. As long as you're careful, it can be an awesome experience. Otherwise, don't go out naked when it's below 70 f  Smiley

70 degrees is about my limit on how cold it is. Any temps in the 80's and 90's are very comfortable. Cool

I'd have to say the low 70's is the coldest I'll go out nude, as long as it's not windy. I've done the low 60's a few times though, for short periods of time, or if I've been out hiking a while and I'm already pretty warm from moving around.
