Ok for me it is:-

Slapton Sands near Dartmouth, Devon, UK
Cayo Largo Island, Cuba; and
Any quiet beach in the Canary Islands or the Balearics - Menorca, Fuerteventura and Formentera in particular.

I think the naturist campings in the south of France are the best in the world- you do have to select them on space (per visitor) like last year I went to a camping that had 140 acres! (http://www.domainedenriou.com/)
The naturist spirit is well understood in France, the weather is good, and nature is beautiful.

Perhaps if people want to visit Europe the link i placed below might be handy.
Its a map of all countries (in the world actually) and places where there is a camping. The language is dutch but you'll make sense of it. The blue dots on the map are campings, yellow dots beaches.

That's great Louise, Cap d'Agde is fantastic.  I've been twice, I can't wait to go back again.  Where is the location your avatar picture was taken?  It looks a  lot like Black's Beach.

In Western NY, about 40 miles south of Buffalo there is breathtaking Gorge called "Zoar Valley", sited along where two branches of a large creek converge. Plenty of creek bathing and miles and miles of great hiking trails in the surrounding woods.

The gorge walls keep the creek area very secluded. Around a bend is an unofficial skinny dipping area that's been tolerated by authorities since the 1800s. There are typically some sparse crowds of mainly older nudists who generally keep to themselves and will hide in the plentiful foliage of hikes or kayakers pass by. I visited this beautiful place for the first time just a few weeks ago Smiley

Love the beaches in Qld and NSW in Australia. The sand and water is clean and warm. And it is summer here at the moment. It is good to be in the sun!!

Samarai and Bilongil are the best i have been to. In Qld Alex Bay.

Like others, my fave in the UK is Studland Bay just to the west of Bournemouth - you catch a bus from the town centre and go over the chain ferry at Sandbanks. You can either get off the bus before the ferry, or travel over on it. From the other side it's a 20 minute walk around the coast or through the dunes to the nudist beach. During the holiday period it's packed, about half the people nude, all ages - I got involved when my mum and dad took me down for a weekend when I was younger. Nudist beach about about half a mile long. Lovely golden sand in a gently curving bay backed by natural dunes, and it's all semi-official (owned by the National Trust, who allow nude sunbathing there), even you Aussies would love it!

Don't like my local beach at Brighton - horrible stones and no atmosphere. If you get the choice between the two, don't even think about it, go to Studland even if it takes longer to get there, you won't regret it!

Agree that the best in Europe is Cap d'Agde near Montpellier in the South of France (see my post on the Cap d'Agde thread) - the resort is like a town and if you aren't shy it's great walking about the streets and into the shops with nothing on. There are people of all ages there, don't believe what you sometimes read about it being a giant swingers' club.

But there's also a great beach in the Canary Islands at Maspalomas in Gran Canaria. Stay in the resort and walk 10 minutes from the main beach to find the nudist area. It's huge and further along there's a gay section too. Most nude all along. During main holiday periods there are families there, rest of time mainly older couples, probably Germans (a lot of them read German newspapers anyway), generally speaking they're into naturism more than us Brits - respect to them for that! If you're staying in Playa del Ingles it's a longer walk, about half an hour. When you're on the beach people are coming past all the time on the coastal walk between Playa and Maspalomas, which I suspect is how many of them discover the nudist beach in the first place. Sometimes it's a bit windy, so people go into the shelter of the dunes. One word of warning - there is "activity" well into the dunes, so don't be surprised if you stumble across something if you take the short cut from Playa. But they've always looked safe enough to me.

Been to Warnbro and North Swanbourne beaches in WA. Much preferred Swanbourne as it's a stones throw from the city, but both were an enjoyable experience.  boobies
