that just sums it all up that early quote from this discussion i reckon :-) naturism is just not cool- just look at the vast majority of websites..either not cool...of soft porno. plus....i dont think this has been mentioned-young people build their identity on the clothes they wear. also, maybe...there are more young skinny dippers...that young naturists..and maybe the skinny dippers wud never consider naturism

as a young person...i find alot of naturism a put off...ie..no other young people. and also...on stuff like yahoo groups and meetup.com all the people who're on these networks..are...disturbing, and wierd. on meetup.com, all the edinburgh meetup naturists are...middle aged. male. and like a good massage.

  We also need to make it clear to the younger crowd that they are welcome. Forum's such as this, are a start, and prove that there are young naturists out there. However young adult naturist organizations, need to market to a younger, hipper crowd. Perhaps adding extreme sports and related activities, like bonfires will draw such people in. Another thing, would be reduced admission prices to clubs, as well as having events aimed at teenagers and college students. Also, many young adults are likely to feel discriminated against the anti perversion policies of many clubs, since they may fit criteria for exclusion for trying to join up while being single and male.

In my opinion the world naked bike rides offers an excellent stepping stone into the world of naturism. For starters the ideology of the WNBR, in promoting environmental awareness, is also a key philosophy of naturism. Furthermore it offers a chance to be naked in an area that one would never be allowed to, like outside the Houses of Parliament, making it exciting. Most importantly many young people have various preconceptions about what naturism involves, unfortunately mostly negative, and through a more socially acceptable medium such as posing for a life drawing class or participating in a protest, they learn that being nude is completely natural and would invariably be intersted in finding other people in their age group who share this belief.

Not a bad style. But I think you need to make it an activity common in pop culture. I think that MTV could feature a show with young people in a nudist colony and have a group like aanr advise on keeping it family friendly and within a month of the first episode the clubs (in the USA at least) would see a massive increase in their youth membership.

I have some friends that are getting son's and daughters into nudism. We Nude hot tub all of the time. I  think it is healthy. The naked body is beautiful and nothing to be ashamed of.

How old are they? Have they always raised them that way or is it something new?

if trying to get the youth groups and such into nudity, then there are a lot of things to consider.

first - there has to be something appealing from it - what can it give them something else cant? we all know the answer to this of course, but they dont.

second - why should they do it at all - they have to be given examples as to why they should do it or give it a go.

third - if they are from textile families, then they'll probably be less likely to try it out. although im from a textile family (and 18) i only started taking an interest in nudity in the early months of being 17.

Ithink possibly the best way is to have a nudist water park (sadly, we dont even have an indoor one here in uk!). 'Normal' water parks are always drawing in kids and teens - is this not the way forward? many youths enjoy walking/canoeing - arrange group nudist sessions of these and ask every youth already going to bring a friend. teen nude summer camp - run by teens for teens. i once read about this sort of thing a while back. the writer said she thought every summer, every state county of america should hold a nude summer camp (weather depending) for one week. this was sadly not achieved, but the idea was a good one at that.
