Sorry. I didn’t live in a drug haven. It was an isolated incident but enough to scare me sober.
Last summer in Lanzarote I walked home from the shopping mall to the hotel (about 3 miles) on concrete tiles in bare feet.
Now I learned to be more careful and look where I’m walking…

I do most of the time when I can. I have a friend that I hike with and he hikes barefoot, no way I can do that.

yeah, i can't do the woods or anything like that.. but backyards, parks, the beach, sidewalks, the parking lot, driveway... all of that i do regularly. i prefer the parking lot, though... something about that roughness that feels good hahha

A "funny" thing happened on the way ... from the parking lot to our local Trader Joe's grocery store where I had been admonished to wear shoes, back in January: a thong of my cheap flip-flops came off, and I showed up there, once again, barefoot . Nobody noticed, though , and I decided to get a new (more expensive !) pair at Abercrombie later today, on my way back to USC. Aaron

I'm pretty much just barefoot in bed, and in the shower. My feet get cold, so I rarely even walk around with just socks on. I was in Australia a few years ago, and was surprised at how many people walked around barefoot. That said, most of them had quite rough looking feet, which I suppose you need if you're going to avoid shoes.

That's more likely something you get by walking barefoot The feet need some time to "get used to it", but the more you walk barfoot, the rougher your feet become. I can't count how often I have been offered slippers and received incredulous looks after politely refusing... What for? I don't like slippers

There really isnt much to going barefoot, I do it all the time, you just take your shoes off and walk around, eventually your feet go from sensitive to tolerant of the cement!

I just saw that commercial on TV a little while ago..... "removes dry callous skin"...... yeah so does sandpaper........ Yep, just bought two of those PedEggs at Publishers Clearing House. Now the future looks bright again: beautiful feet, and a chance to win $7,000,000 on Memorial Day. As it's written in the Old Testament: intelligent people make intelligent choices ! Let's just say as soon as I've pocketed that kind of money I'll promise to purchase a second set of PedEggs at PCH . Aaron

hahahaha, that's terrible. i had a delicious lamb stew this evening with creme brulee and espresso afterwards. i just moved to upstate new york after being in florida for the last 5 years and was a little cautious about going barefoot all over up here, but so far, it's working out nicely! :-p
