Hi All

I have re written this post several times as I can not find the right words to use to say what I want to say, this is very frustrating as I am hardly ever at a loss for the right words to use in any statement or advertising campaign.

For those regular YNAI'rs you will have noticed the absences of both myself and my twin brother Rob from the forums over the past month, there is a reason, I have only just returned from the UK as I needed to get away to grieve the loss of my twin brother Rob. Yes Rob has passed away earlier this month.

Those of you who knew him now he was fighting off cancer, and he until the day he died was a fighter but the cancer got the better of him.

The funeral was a quiet one with close friends and family only, the day after the funeral I departed for the UK.

I don't want the sympathy so please don't.

I am thinking of a way on the forum for those to have their say about Rob, a way of a memorial to his efforts in keeping ynai.com alive.
I promised him that I would do all I can to keep this site alive and that is what I am going to do.

Well, I guess thats about it, apologies for taking so long in getting this out to the general population of the ynai.com forum members.

Thanks Casey so much for that. I will not offer you sympathy but I will say that I have spoken on msn a number of times with Rob and found him to be a top bloke. He was fun, genuine and a good laugh. Also without the hard work of you and others on this site I may never have met so many wonderful people. He has left a legacy and that legacy is happiness in so many people's lives. He'll always be here in one form or another. I fly back to Sydney this Wednesday and would very much hope we can meet one day. Thanks again x

I completely understand, Casey.  He started a really good thing with this site, and I hope that we will continue to keep it going.

The vitality of the forum itself is the greatest tribute to Rob's efforts. It is like a book, except it continues to be written.

While sympathy is not requested, I am sure it exists on the parts of each and every member of this site.

I'll remember Rob as a very welcoming guy who seemed to really want to make this a true community. He will be missed.

I know of loss, this one hits hard, though we have a legend now. This site's forefather.

Rob might have departed, but he's left a great legacy behind him: YNAI. The best thing we can all do right now is make sure this legacy continues.

Cry Casey - So sad to hear of Rob's passing, but I know that the work he put into this group will only continue to grow under your guidance and his from above.

Hi,

As I'm very new around here, I haven't had the chance to get to know Rob personnaly.  Even though I have heard about him, and read some of his old messages.  Words are of very little help, if any, but I'm all heart with you all who already miss a great friend, and even more to his family.
