Good shout Danee,
To compare and contast, I have had two peopel that have added me to MSN in the last few days, awaiting an acceptance or otherwise.
1) Sent me a nice short PM, asking me if I minded them adding me to MSN. I said no problem , and I would do the acceptance thing. When I checked MSN, they hadn't ( as I sort of expected ) even yet added me. But in fact they waited until I had replied in the positive before adding me, after which I accepterd. So, they are now an MSN contact.
2) I have another person who has just added me, without even a message ( which they could add to the MSN request ) saying they are from Y and who they are. I worked out who it was ( it wasn't dificult in this case, but I have had some before when it has been less obvious ), but have just ignored it. In this case, the member could not yet PM or view profiles, but could certainly have written a line when adding me to MSN. So, they are not now an MSN contact.
I am sorry, but I have a lot of MSN contacts, and will not just add folk that I don't really know and that have made no effort to introduce themselves.
