Maslins Beach (South Australia)
Maslins Beach can be found on the state of South Australia, a state of Australia, it claims to be the first offical nude beach not just in the state of South Australia but in Australia also.I visit this beach on a regular basis as it is the closet nude beach to my place here in South Australia, a 35 minute drive away.
During the week it is very quiet, except for South Australian school holidays (Colleage/University), the weekends depending on what time of the year, and the weather you will find is the best time to go to see and mingle with fellow naturist of your own age.
The summer months (mid October to late March/early April), the weather in South Australia can hit the mid 40c's so Maslins can get very busy, the water is clear, and awesome to swim in, a lot of people in the afternoons throw a fishing line in and they catch the odd fish, or crab.People are very friendly, and helpful if you need sunscreen put on your back, or help putting up your shade tent.
Up until last year (2007), the Maslins Beach Nude Olympics were a regular occurance here on the Australia Day long weekend (26 January), due to increase costs due to liability insurance, this event has now stopped occuring.
Like all nude beaches that I have visted all over the world, there are the undesirables, they usually congregate late in the afternoons at the far southern end of the beach but they generally keep to them selves if you know what I mean.
My advise, not to wander down to the southern end of Maslins alone.
